Hello everyone! My name is Elizabeth and I have loved animals all my life. From domesticating feral kittens to rescuing turtles from the road, I’ve always had a passion for anything furry, scaly, or covered in feathers. At 26 years old I found myself making some big life changes and needed a loyal friend by my side. I found the sweetest pup and she’s changed my life. Birdie sparked in me a desire to share the love and companionship I’ve found in her. The love of a breed was born. Melissa and I have partnered up on many projects through our decade of friendship so it was natural to set off on this journey together.

Thanks for stopping into Doodle MAINEia! My name is Melissa and I would describe myself as a compassionate animal lover who is committed to doing things right. I have a thriving Alpaca Farm with award winning alpacas, so I am no stranger to the importance of good genetics. What sets our family farm apart, however, is the loving bond we have with our animals. Our dogs live with us in our home where they receive the utmost care and love. My whole family has been transformed through these relationships. Elizabeth and I knew that our endeavor had to not only create top-quality dogs, but create an opportunity for others to have a fulfilling relationship through the heart-melting love of a doodle.

Meet Primrose, our gorgeous small standard Phantom Parti Poodle. When her face is shaved down, she has the most beautiful tan markings. Prim is a sweet, curious, and intelligent goofball. She has a love for figuring things out and will stay on task until she does. She is always keeping us laughing at her silly antics and we adore this trait. She also has a gentle nature about her and it shines through when she is around our litters of puppies. She loves to sit beside the whelping box watching them and sneaking some kisses in. She loves children just as much as puppies. Primrose is a mama to our medium Bernedoodles.

Meet Sugar. She’s our beautiful F1 Bernedoodle. We’re in love with her Merle coat, big blocky head and amazing personality.. Sugar gets along great with children, other dogs, cats and anyone she meets. She thinks she’s a lap dog even though she’s 70 lbs. Her favorite thing to do is curl up in her dad’s lap while he sits in his recliner. Sugar is full of life, love and silly shenanigans. She is momma to our medium/standard Bernedoodles.

Meet Posey. Posey is our small standard Goldendoodle. Posey is living her best life in her guardian home. She can be found during the summer months with her ears blowing in the wind as she cruises around Southern Maine in a convertible. She is a beach lover and loves to run around in the mornings or evenings on the near by beaches. She has also become a key character in her guardians instagram posts. Posey is loved by everyone she meets due to her gentle, calm, and loving personality. She is the momma to our medium Goldendoodles and medium Golden Mountain Doodles.

Meet Daisy. She is a lovely Standard Goldendoodle. Daisy is a big girl, but an absolute teddy bear! She lives in a guardian home with two small boys and it’s like she was made for them! She is gentle, patient, and loving toward the children. She has an amazing temperament and is the perfect family dog. We like to call her “Nana” because she reminds us of the sweet dog from Peter Pan. Daisy is the momma to our standard Goldendoodles.

Meet Heidi. Heidi is our medium Tri colored Bernedoodle. She is the perfect blend of relaxed foot warmer and energetic playfulness. Heidi loves going on walks, rides in the van, and can even keep up beside a bike for miles! She is well loved in her guardian family, and very patient with the littles who give her energetic pets and snuggles. When it’s bedtime, she goes through the house to check on every child to make sure they are in their beds, and then will settle with a happy sigh at her guardian family’s feet. Heidi will be momma to our medium sized Bernedoodles.

Meet Dixie. Dixie is a standard Golden Mountain Doodle out of our retired momma, Eve. Dixie is loyal, playful, and easy going. She lives with a 3 year old little girl and they are best friends. She Loves to play ball and is never the first one to say it.s time to stop. At home she is the bathroom monitor and watches attentively to make sure her humans don’t fall into the “round hole.” Dixie will take up Eve’s reins and be the momma to our Golden Mountain Doodles.

~Our Boys~
Meet Archie. Archie is our F1 standard, Tri colored Bernedoodle. He is greatly adored by his guardian family. Archie loves to go for evening walks around the neighborhood, interacting with people and dogs along the way. Archie worked really hard in training and earned his Good Canine Citizen Certificate. There are also plans in the future for him to earn his therapy dog certification. Archie is the the sire to our standard sized Golden Mountain Doodles and standard sized f1b Bernedoodles.

Meet Jafar, aka Jaffy. Jaffy is our brown phantom parti colored poodle. Jaffy brings so much life and laughter into our program. He is very athletic and graceful as he stuns us with his acrobatic moves. During the day, he can be found dancing on his hind feet for a treat, or jumping to great heights. At night he likes to steal the middle spot on the bed when it’s time to go to sleep. Jaffy is the sire to our medium Bernedoodles.

Meet Zen. He is our handsome Tri colored, medium sized Bernedoodle. He is a clever, happy boy who loves adventuring with his guardian dad. Together they can be found riding around with the windows down and music blasting in the background. One of their favorite places to be is the beach. Zen just loves the feel of the wind in his hair and sand between his toes, and all through his hair! He adores every dog and human he meets. He is full of life and playful energy, but also loves cozy days on the couch watching his Dad play video games. He is Dad to our medium sized Bernedoodles and Golden Mountain Doodles.

Meet Gus. Gus is our handsome mini/medium apricot colored Goldendoodle. He is a natural charmer that loves to give you his eyes and prance around which melts our hearts every time. He has a fun loving temperament and if we didn’t know better, we would think he had springs on his feet. He’s a happy, bouncy boy! He enjoys going for his daily walks around his neighborhood. When he is inside, he can be found watching squirrels and birds from the window. He loves to be as close as he can to his humans and so cuddling up on the couch or in the bed is a daily event. Gus is sire to our mini/medium sized Goldendoodles and Golden Mountain Doodles.

Meet Birdie. Miss Birdie is an F1b Bernedoodle who is goofy, loyal, sweet and full of life. She is the inspiration behind Doodle MAINEia. We fell in love with this breed of dog after welcoming her into our lives and we were thrilled to share her puppies with wonderful families who get to have a little piece of our beloved girl. Birdie was momma to our mini Bernedoodles.
Meet Ruby. She is our standard sable Poodle. Ruby is a spunky, sweet girl. Her main mission in life is to love on as many people as she can even if it means she has to jump a five foot fence to get to them! She’s a beautiful member of our pack who’s always ready to greet you with kisses and love. Ruby was momma to our standard Bernedoodles.
Meet Bea. She is a lovely F1 Goldendoodle who produced adorable mini/medium sized Goldendoodle puppies for us. She is the best family dog and we couldn’t imagine life without her! She loves her people and her doggie siblings too. Bea is calm, nurturing, and was an amazing mom to her puppies. Her signature move is politely laying her head in our laps and looking up at us with her soulful eyes. Bea was momma to our Medium Goldendoodles.
Meet Josie. She is our small standard Tri colored F1 Bernedoodle. Josie lives in a Guardian Home. She came into their lives just when they needed her and has filled their hearts with so much love. She loves playing outside and can be found looking out the window during the day hoping to catch a glimpse of the neighborhood wildlife. Josie was a momma to our medium sized Bernedoodles and she just adored being a momma.
Meet Willow. She is our standard Tri colored first generation Bernedoodle. Willow is from Ruby’s second litter and she holds the honor of carrying on Ruby’s lines in our breeding program. Willow is a great mix of independent and cuddly. She has an inquisitive side as well. She loves to run and explore outside but at the same time, she loves to plop down her 86 pound body right on top of you for some ear scratching and nose nuzzles. Willow was a momma to our standard Bernedoodles.
Meet Hazel. Hazel is our standard phantom colored poodle. Hazel is a sturdy girl but a gentle giant through and through. She enjoys getting out and going on hiking adventures or running on the beach as she chases the waves. In the evening hours, where ever her human is, so will she be. Hazel was momma to our standard Bernedoodles.
Meet Eve. She is our sweet standard Goldendoodle. She has a heart of gold that matches her gorgeous curly coat. Her coloring and award winning personality has always reminded us of the storybook character of Winnie the Pooh. She makes an amazing side kick. She is always up for an adventure such as hiking, beach walks and even ice fishing. She was a momma to our standard Golden Mountain doodles and Goldendoodles.
Meet Stormi. She is a small, merle colored poodle. We instantly fell in love with her gorgeous markings, sloppy kisses, and spunky outlook on life. She’s one of the smallest in our pack, but you wouldn’t know it because of her larger than life personality! She can often be found perched up on the back rest of the couch looking out the window or snoozing away. She was a momma to our Mini Bernedoodles.
Meet Izzy. Izzy is our cream colored mini Goldendoodle. We held Izzy back from Bea’s last litter so we could carry on her lines. Izzy is super smart and spunky. She loves to follow you around the house or sit right beside you on the couch. She lives in a guardian home and her human adores her and admits she is just a tad bit spoiled and is the princess in the home. Izzy was the momma to our mini Goldendoodles.
Meet Snoop. Snoop is our charming Tri colored mini Bernedoodle. With his sleek coat and intelligent eyes, he is not only a looker(just look at his cute little foxy face) but a thinker. Snoop is a great combination of an independent pup where he enjoys exploring his surroundings on his own during the day but never says no to a good snuggle session with his humans. His loving nature shines through in quiet moments of affection making him a loyal and soothing presence. Snoop was sire to our mini Bernedoodles.

We reserve the right to save the first two spots for our program or for service/therapy placements
A $500.00 non-refundable but transferable fee is required to be placed on our active waitlist. We start excepting this fee once the puppies have arrived. If you would like to reach out to us and let us know you are interested in a future puppy, we do keep a pre waitlist with names of people. We will reach out to you specifically once puppies have arrived. If you are still interested in getting a puppy, we will move your name from the Pre waitlist to the active waitlist.
Our puppy pricing is based on many different factors. Much time, money, and love are poured into each dog and our prices reflect the care that goes into raising a litter of healthy, happy puppies.

**Weights listed are an estimation and are based off the parents weight. Genetics doesn’t always play fair, so we can’t guarantee adult weight.
All of our puppies come with a spay/neuter contract that is non-negotiable.
Also included will be a “Puppy Go Home” basket with lots of goodies and an endless support system. We are always here to answer any questions you may have and would love to keep in touch. Share any “pupdates” you’d like on our Facebook page!
Puppy picks are made in order according to the list and will take place when puppies are 8 weeks old. The reason we wait until week 8 is because all our puppies are evaluated on day 52. You will receive these evaluations in video and written form so you can better understand the personalities and temperaments of all the puppies in the litter.
Our extended puppy training will help you bring a puppy home with the foundations of house training, crate training, and basic obedience. You choose how many extra weeks you would like and we will create a customized plan for your needs. Pricing is based on a weekly charge of $500.
